Petrichor, the English Club, is dedicated to enhancing students’ language and communication skills, providing a vibrant space for them to explore the power of words. Our club nurtures spoken and creative writing abilities, encouraging students to express themselves confidently and imaginatively. Through diverse activities, we focus on developing theatrical skills, enabling students to bring characters to life and engage audiences in meaningful dialogue.

Shiva Shiksha Sadan celebrated DEAR Day (Drop Everything And Read) with great enthusiasm, marking the beautiful amalgamation of Language Day and World Book Day! Shivians from Classes 6 to 12 immersed themselves in the joy of reading, dedicating time to explore books across genres, languages, and cultures. The initiative aimed to enrich reading habits, boost comprehension, and nurture a lifelong love for literature.

From quiet corners to lively discussions, the school buzzed with literary energy as students connected with the power of words and stories.

In addition, Petrichor participates in esteemed essay-writing competitions at CBSE and international levels, such as the Queen Elizabeth Essay Competition and the India-Vietnam Essay Writing Competition. Our students have achieved remarkable success, bringing laurels to the school through their accomplishments in inter-school debate competitions and other events.
